The Hillbilly Funk All-Stars (Catfish Hodge, T Lavitz, Vassar Clements, Kenny Gradney and Richie Hayward) tour in February and March.

Jazz Is Dead (T Lavitz, Jimmy Herring, Alphonso Johnson and Rod Morgenstein/Jeff Sipe) tours in April and early May. The shows at the Fox Theater in Boulder, CO on April 13 and 14 and Maritime Hall in San Francisco, CA on April 23 and 24 are recorded.

T Lavitz teaches a five-week summer course at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in July and early August.

 
2007  

The Dixie Dregs tour the West Coast in January with the Steve Morse Band opening.

T records a project with Dave Weckl, John Patitucci, Frank Gambale, Steve Morse and Jerry Goodman during the first half of the year.

Once again, T is invited to teach a five-week summer course at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in July and August. He becomes the Artistic Director of a new ensemble, called the "Rock Workshop." Jazz is Dead performs a one-off gig at the Berklee Performance Center on July 23.

T appears for the first time at MoogFest on September 22. The event also features Thomas Dolby, Jordan Rudess, Adam Holzman and others.

'School of the Arts', the project with Dave Weckl, Frank Gambale, Jerry Goodman, John Patitucci and Steve Morse is set for release on October 9th by Magnatude (Magna Carta) Records.

On November 3rd T's new trio will play their first gig at the Center for Arts in Natick, MA.
